Does Omnichannel Article Availability and Sourcing (OAA) support for B2B businesses?

Hallo SAP Experts,

Our company are trying to implement Omnichannel Article Availability and Sourcing (OAA) in SAP CAR, SAP Commerce cloud is the frontend.

As we know OAA is designed and ready for high volume B2C businesses, but we also have some of business cases dealing with Wholesale companies, my questions is that, if OAA can be used to B2B businesses? If yes, is there any special setting or changes required to setup for both B2B and B2C ?

Hi Cathy,

Can you give any examples for your interactions with wholesale companies? On the technical level OAA is getting rough stock information (RSI) to use for an indication of availability and then using APIs for a realtime sourcing and availability calculation so these could be applied to any "front end" application if the logic fits. In one scenario the wholesale customer is just a consumer that places a bigger order but perhaps there are more complexities such as different distribution centres to ship from or other order logic?
