Browser Compatibilty

We are having an issue with browser compatibility when using our simulations in SuccessFactors. We initially set up SSO with Internet Explorer, and are able to run the sims with no issues. However, users running Chrome or Edge are not able to run the simulations. We have doublechecked the technical settings provided, as well as the settings within Enable Now, and everything seems fine. Is there something related to SSO and these other browsers that needs to happen? I am working with my internal I/T team, but so far no luck. Thank you.

What do you mean by "are not able to run the simulations"? Do the simulations just not launch, or is there an error message, or...? Also, you say this is only via SuccessFactors (so I assume simulations will play OK in all browsers when accessed via the Trainer) - how are you launching them? Via a loaded SCORM package, or is this via Web Assistant? If via Web Assistant, check your CORS settings in Manager - make sure it is enabled, and you have allowed sites of * (or something more specific if this has been deliberately set up).

Thank you Dirk, I will try to clarify, as you brought up a good point. It really isn't that we cant run the simulations, we are not even able to get past the authentication popup, once the user clicks on the ? in SuccessFactors when using Chrome or Edge. IE works just fine. Yes, this is via Web Assistant. The settings in Manager appear to be fine, the CORS setting is enabled and the CORS allowed sites is set to *. Thanks for your input!

Hi Jan,

If all the requirements have been considered, e.g. Cookies turned on, Javascript turned on and Enable Now URL added to Trusted Sites, and your IT guys are not able to sort this out, please raise a SAP support ticket to get assistance with this issue. When raising the ticket, please use the component value KM-WPB-MGR to ensure that it goes to the correct team for consideration.
