Hi guys,

I was wondering if it is possible to define and use different oData services (e.g. Northwind) which may have not been created as a destination on SCP.

Is it possible to create an empty project in vscode and the connect manually (e.g. via url) to an oData service?

Your question is not much clear, can you provide additional details on what exactly you want to do?
Is your question related to MDK development in VSC ?

MDK Mobile clients do not support direct connections to OData URLs. The URL needs to be created as a destination in the application in Mobile Services.

From a development perspective you can download the $metadata and use that to setup your service reference in the editor but in order to run the client you will need it setup as a destination.

You just need define the mobile destination in mobile cockpit for the empty app.

The mobile destination points to the Northwind.
