Hello All,

We are doing migration from SAP PI 7.3 (dual) to SAP CPI. One of the SAP Electronic Invoicing for Brazil interface need to be migrated. Standard SWC (SAP SLL-NFE) consumed in SAP PI.

Similar any SAP package available in CPI to use for Brazil. Appreciate your quick support.

Regards

Chandra

Hi chandrra_rk, Hi vanessa.dayanc,

I am not a specialist on NFe, but isn't this product a replacement for what you have in PI as Content for Brazil?

Dear Ivan,

yes, this seems to be correct, but the service is only available on AWS Soa Paulo Instance in CF. In SAP PI with GRC NFe, there was no such restriction. If you want to use it on any any other CF-Instance, it is not possible according to documentation. In our case we are using a other location ....

Best regards

Vanessa

Hi vanessa.dayanc,

Yes, that service is indeed only available in São Paulo. However, a BTP Global Account is not limited to a single region or hyperscaler - that's the whole purpose of having a multi-cloud, multi-environment such as BTP. You can have multiple sub-accounts created for multiple purposes. Therefore, you could have a sub-account in region Brazil/São Paulo (AWS) just for the "SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, outbound invoicing option for Brazil" as well as another sub-account for other purposes somewhere else with no impact on what you have today.

If you take a look at the product documentation, you can clearly see that the subaccount is mainly used to host the service which will be integrated via web services (REST) to receive the NF'es and that service is the software that communicated to SEFAZ:

There is even another architecture approach targeted at SAP Partners that wish to enhance the solution with their own implementation:

Hope this helps.

Ivan

We were told by SAP recently that we need to buy a separate BOM item of IS/CPI(standalone instance), especially for the NFe solution pack. This looks strange to us as to why a stand-alone license when we already bought BTP license while implementing SAP Asset Manager solutuion. We wish to know if the same can be utilized/extended to DRC requirements as well.

Hi gk180773,

1) As far as I know, there is no license for SAP Cloud Integration Suite "Standalone Edition". Only valid options are: Basic, Standard & Premium editions.

2) I am not familiar with the term "NFe solution pack". If you point me to its documentation or give me more background on what you are trying to achieve, I might be able to figure out what you need in terms of NFe and other components.

The following are the documentation related to NFe running on BTP as a service. Please review the following documentation:

AFAIK, both solutions do not require SAP Cloud Integration Suite.

If your business process requires more then what is "in-scope" of those two products, then you do need to create your integrations using Cloud Integration Suite.

Please read the following document as well as it might be more relevant to you if you are looking for the same business processes for other countries (filter it by desired country):
