Typically bank run their finance processes in S/4 HANA which gives them the possibility to integrate their core banking systems with the G/L of the bank. To support the accounting processes for financial contracts SAP has developed a sub-ledger application called S/4 HANA for financial product subledger (FPSL) that can handle the banking specific accounting processes for financial contracts that is not supported in the standard accounting process of S/4 HANA.
