Hello Expert,

Please i want to install S4/HANA application on AWS using SWPM but when i execute ."/sapinst" command it will bring out the URL but if i copy the URL to my host machine it will show page cannot display, does any one have ideal how i can do the installation of 1709 S/4HANA on EC2 AWS Instance. i have already installed HANA DB, but the work there is to install. application. I need help please.

Hi Ezeh.

1. From the host to the cloud system you can able to ping or from HTTPS connection is possible?

2. Check this prerequisite SAP Note 1656250 for Cloud installation.

Hello Kanayo,

SWPM will build the URL based on the local server's name.

Just replace the hostname part of the URL with the hostname that is accessible from your machine.

For example:

  • SWPM shows: https://internal.example.com:port/URL/path
  • You can access the machin with "external.example.com".
  • To acess SWPM, use: https://external.example.com:port/URL/path
