Outbound ORDRSP (ORDERS05) fails status 04

Hello,

I generated an ORDRSP idoc which ends in status 04 through statuses 30, 03, 18 then 04 (Error within control information of EDI subsystem).

Where is the problem: in the recepient information or in the sender information ?

In the Port OR Partner number OR Partn.Type OR Partner Role ?

Status 04 is an outbound status:

So it's still on the sender side.

You've not provided any details on your communication scenario, so it's hard to tell what's the problem. It's quite possible that your middleware is sending the 04 status to SAP - see similar issue with IBM Sterling: Incorrect status messages (04/05) are being sent back to SAP - Sterling Gentran:Server for Microsoft...

Hello Dominik,

Thank you so much. Your answer has helped us a lot.

Our college EDI reset the 'User Link Field' (which is linked to the DOCNUM field) in the 'maps' for 856 and 855 and re-compiled them.
Then it works now.
