CVA License Query

Hello All,

We are planning to implement CVA tool with ATC remote check. We will be using remote check from Satellite system to ATC via an RFC. Only RFC user will have authorization for CVA check. I want to understand how SAP classify license in this model. Based on the user having authorization of CVA or based on the developer no matter how they get the result.

End users do not have role access to run CVA directly but end user can see the result returned by remote check via RFC user.

Because CVA license is user count based, I need to clarify who is classified as a user. My understanding it is based on role.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the question.

A user is anyone who either triggers a CVA run or who uses the results of a CVA run. So, an employee who receives a list of security vulnerabilities from a CVA run is also a user.

Best regards
