Samples Not Calculated as per the Sampling Scheme

Hi Experts,

I have a small issue, the business procures the Material in KG and samples are to be calculated in PC. So Accordingly I have maintained the AUoM in Material Master in PC as the base UoM is KG.

4 PC = 1 KG

As the samples vary according to the Lot size, so I have maintained the Sampling scheme. The sampling scheme data is as Follows only

Lot Size SampleSize

1 1

10 2

500 5

1000 10

1000000 20

Now, if i manually create an inspection Lot for the Material for verifying the sample calculation i am facing the below issue.

1. if the Lot size is 50 kg, the system takes 5 samples , so the total sample size would be in A ( 5/4) kg which is correct, but if i enter the lot size as 9, then also the system takes the sample size as ( 5/4 ) which is wrong.

Can anyone help me with this ASAP.

Thanks and Regards,

Abhishek Parab.

Hi Abhishek,

As per your description, it seems that the system is considering the AUoM ( it might be maintained in tje insp plan header and mics)

So, 50 kg is 200 pcs and 9kg is 36 pcs

In both cases, it will pick 5 samples as per your plan
