CPI idoc receiver adapter, warning message

Hello,

I have an iFlow that receives and sends an iDoc.

On the adapter, I get the following warning message:

"idoc sender may not pass xml message to receiver. Idoc receiver supports XML input only"

Any hints on what this actually means and how it could be addressed?
