CO-PM integration - time confirmation (KP26)

hi,

I am more on PM than CO side but would like any (CO) input for below.

"Business users want KP26 to be maintained with the smallest value possible (0.01euro) because the labor cost for the plant maintenance has already been included in overhead rates for the manufacturing . So if we use the labor rate it will lead to overabsorption"

Does it make sense ? Hope i am clear enough.

Hi Pete,

Indeed, without maintaining activity type , there is no need of KP26 : thanks. Any comments on handling PM costs in manufacturing overhead vs (PM) activity type in time confirmation...

If you don't add an activity type to the order operations then you do not need any KP26 settings at all.
