Good afternoon, we have the following case, when making connections through addons in a SAP10 environment. After establishing the connectionatanytime, the database fails.

Reviewing the records we have the following: 9893]{-1}[43/-1] 2020-11-20 07:14:16.349010 e Authentication catalog_authmgr.cc(00881) :

lock time for user SAPB1_DB_USER_SBO_TEO_PRUEBASDMS is 1440 minutes; user is locked until 2020-11-21 01:57:06.7390000 (given in UTC) [1440,2020-11-21 01:57:06.7390000]

In addition, it has also been found that there is a security policy that may be performing this block:

They can helpwith recommendations in the use of the connectionstringof the addons for this version, so that this blocking of the databaseis avoided.

Regards.

Hi Jacinto,

we have an ongoing SAP ticket about this issue, the root cause is still unknown, we have no final solution yet as we're unfortunately not able to reproduce the behaviour. It just seems to happen. That's why I requested you to raise a ticket and provide as much information as you have to SAP.

Yes, refresh database user in ControlCenter is only a temporary fix. For us it continued happening. You can ask in your ticket for another workaround, there is a possibility to disable the db specific users and revert to old behaviour as workaround. But this requires official permission in a ticket.

Hola Jacinto,

As already highlighted by andre.seiss, please take a look at the workaround suggested in the notes below:

If that does not help, please log a ticket to the support team.

Best,
Thiago.

Hi André, Tiago, thanks for yours comments, on the question, André has been implemented in SAP 10 PL 02, at the point indicated by Tiago, it has already been applied, but it only gives me a temporary solution.

There is already a ticket raised to see the problem.
If you have any other alternative, please suggest it.

Hello Jacinto,

what patch level / feature package of Business One 10.0 are you using?
Yes, in B1 10.0 is a change of how the system accesses the db. By default it is no longer using the db admin user but pairs of read only and read and write users. There were problems with the users according to SAP Notes #2950635 & #2825180. It was fixed in FP 2008 but we're still facing the issue in this version. If you can reproduce the issue I think it is better to raise a ticket to SAP.
