Material availability date issue

Hello,

I am creating a sales order with 2 line items and I have selected Complete Delivery at Header level. Item 1 is in stock so system is picking Material Availability Date (MAD) as current date but item 2 is not in stock and RLT is 30 days so system is picking MAD as next month. So far so good but as soon as I save the order then the system is changing the MAD for line 1 also to next month same as line 2. Any idea why is this happening? Shouldn't system keep the MAD of line 1 as current date only even though delivery cannot be created immediately because of complete delivery check.

    Hello Karan,

MAD is telling you when the materials must be available to create the delivery on time. If you are telling the system that you must deliver both items together and the second one won’t be available until one month from today... it means the first one is not required until then too.

I believe this system behavior is correct.

    best regards,

    Fortian

    Hi,

The issue is with marking the complete delivery which allows both items to be delivered at the same time.

Issue has been resolved, it was related to a custom development.
