    Hi John

Suppose you created production Order for 100PC Out of 100 Pcs Only 90 Pcs are “Ready to use” where 10 Pcs are rejected .Now you have following options

1: Rejected product is( Repairable): Create a rework order with CO07 & capture rework cost on parent production order or Cost center or material as per business requirement.

    2. Rejected product is degraded (Non Repairable) : If there is trend of 10% rejection then also add Rejected product as By product in BOM. For Example = FG Prod Order=100PC, Raw Material = 110 Pc, By Product = -10 Pcs. where by product will be in –ve sign in BOM.

    3. Rejected product is scrap ( Non Saleable): Quality person can scrap the material at the time of usage decision .this process is generally adopted in chemical industry . In background SAP movement 551 will be perform. If you have not activated Quality Inspection then you can also post it with T-code MIGO.
