BRFPlus Transport of Redundant missing Object

Dear Team,

We are using BRFPlus in Solution manager for Support Team Determination. We have faced RC8 Error in Transporting BRFPlus Application from Development to Production System. On further investigation it was found that this error is due an object which is present in Development, but not in Production, due to mismatch the Error occurred. This object is not required in Production and was created for testing purpose only. We have looked into possibility of deleting the object but this object is being used by other important object. What is the best possible solution for this Issue?

Hi Manasi,

If I understand you correctly your application is referencing an object that is present in DEV but not in PROD. To resolve that issue you have to remove the referencing in DEV (you just remove the referencing i. e. the places where the object is called, do not delete the object) and then put the application into a transport request and redo the transport. This should hopefully resolve the issue.
