Process code I002 in Embedded EWM not creating Split INB

I have an EWM INB created with 100. I chose the Process code I002 and entered -10. Original INB qty got reduced to 90 as expected upon saving. However, I can't find the new Delivery created for diff. qty. of 10. I checked the Ref. Document tab, searched for new INB with ERP PO and EWM WHMon logs and Queues. Does Embedded EWM 1909 support Process code with Qty adjustment?

Hello Suresh

Please see the below thread.

https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/2819209

As explained in the link, In S/4HANA, elimination of outbound delivery requests and inbound delivery notifications implicitly means that Process Code O002 works as O001 and I002 works as I001.

I'm quite amazed that SAP just simply admits in the note that in embedded version, we've lost a simple, functional basic feature ?

They are casually admitting that if you are in embedded EWM, it's no longer possible to generate an complementary delivery for a missing quantity that is known to be delivered later? How can this functionality loss be acceptable ? Why should we accept a simplified "improved" integration if we loose fonctionnal feature in the process ?

I d'ont know how to explain this to my client... We'll have to make a custom development to regain a standard EWM feature that existed for years in decentralized version !

Hello Suresh,

In S/4HANA, the split in EWM using the process code is no longer possible. The process codes I002 and O002 behave as I001 and O001. That means, only the delivery quantity is reduced irrespective of whether we select *001 or *002.
