File System

If it's your local hard drive and not the server hard drive you'll have to create a shared folder and give access to public and/or the account that the BI services are running under. You'll schedule it using the UNC path, eg \\mydesktop\c$\temp\

Our BI services are hosted I am assuming that they would need to set this up as i cannot see a UNC path?

If you use a hosting provider you will not be able to schedule a report to write to your local computer.

The hosting provider does not have access to your network to write a file to your computer.

You'd need to look at using SFTP instead.

You could set up a shared file store on Azure and that may work.

Your hosting provider would have to install the credentials to access that shared folder to the BI servers.
