Source system creation under ODP-ABAP CDS Views

When I try to create source system under “ODP-ABAP CDS Views” from RSA1 in BW system, below error message is shown.

Source system XXXCLNTXXX already exists.
Message no. RSAR201

I guess above thing is due to use "XXXCLNTXXX" as a source system under "ODP-SAP (Extractors)".

Is it impossible to create source system which is already used?

Please let me know if there is another way to void this error.

Please check if logical source system exist, if not create logical system in transaction SCC4 or table T000. Please share how it goes.

Hi Kai.

1. Try to restore the source system, it may ask you type the user credential source and target systems.

2. Refer this SAP Notes 2648471& 2589782
