Oracle upgrade (10 -> 19c) in heterogeneous migration

Dear all

We are planning a heterogeneous migration of SAP systems. The source and target systems are as follows.

[Source System]

SAP: ECC 6.0 EHP4

DB: Oracle 10.0.4.0

OS: AIX 5.3

[Target System ]

SAP: ECC 6.0 EHP4

DB: Oracle19c

OS: Linux RedHat 8.2

We are to conduct the migration by export/import (R3Load) methodology.

[Question] Which of the following options is supported when performing the migration?

1. Install Oracle 19c and import data into it.

2. Install Oracle 10.0.4.0 and import data into it. After that, upgrade to Oracle 19c is performed.

We hope we can go with the option 1. Thanks in advance.
