Profit center in refurbishment orders

Dear experts,

Profit center in refurbishment(iw81) PM orders are determined from profit center of the material master.

Is there any standard configuration available for picking profit center from cost center for these orders ?? ( like other pm orders , profit center is determined from cost center associated with the work center )

Kindly share your thoughts.

Normally refurbishment orders are settled to material. If you are changing the the profit center in order, do check the profit center in settlement document.

Thanks Peter Atkin,

Is the same user exit can be used for refurbishment orders (iw81) ?
In our system, since profit center is derived from material master, program is skipping this user exit.

Please provide your sugestion.

Yeah - I thought it might not work..

Try to get your ABAP Team to have a look at the code around the user-exit to see if there are any specific options for refurbishment orders.

Hi Pete ,

Thanks for your reply . Previous requirement is different from current requirement . In our system , correct profit center is getting derived automatically while using t-code IW31/IW22/IW34 but same is not happening for t-code IW81 . One default profit center XXXX is getting derived automatically for t-code IW81 . Need to know the reason & to fix it . Can you please shed some light on this .

Thanks & Kind Regards ,
