Hi all,
is there a possibility to get the Distribution Data from the Merchandise Category reference article to my new article within the same Merchandise Category. I thought I should be able to customize it in the article type. If there is a possibility pls provide me how to customize it.
Thanks in Advance
Parastou
Hi Parastou,
Which exact Distribution Data do you mean? E.g. Distribution profile under Logistics: DC will be referenced from the Merchandise Category reference article without any problem, and does not really depend on the article type.

Andras

Hi Parastou,
I do not think this would be possible directly by using reference article.
By using the reference, you will be able to copy the values for the reference Site and DC, but this is a good start already, because later in listing the affected sites will get the values from the reference site/DC!
About reference handling I highly recommend you to check the video in this blog published by paul.gendreau :

Hello Parastou,
By changing the Sales org. for plenty articles - you mean creating MVKE entries for them?
This should be done by listing. When performing listing in mass, the necessary article segments can be generated =MVKE, MARC, MBEW...) based on the reference.
The creation of these segments can be further influenced by some BAdI BADI_WSOR_MVKE_CREATION, in method CHANGE_MVKE_TAB, or suppressed by BAdI LIST_DISCONTINUATION, in method LISTING_PARAMETER_SET with the parameter P_IGNORE_MVKE_CHECK. (Find details in SAP KBA 2851283, maybe also 2754888)
Otherwise would you carry out changes on existing MVKE entries (or other article master related DB tables) in mass, you can use MM46.
Best regards,
Andras
