Migration Cockpit - Direct Transfer: System status as Selection Criteria (EQ & FL)

Dear SAP,

we have the requirement to load Equipments & Functional Locations via Migration Cockpit Direct Transfer from ECC to S/4.

System status for these objects does not seem to be supported in the Direct Transfer.
However there are many FL & EQ with system status DLFL that should NOT be migrated.

How can we filter out these specific FL&EQ? The only way to identify that they are out of scope is via the system Status, but we are not able to find it in 'source structure'.

in release 2020 you can create a SKIP rule in LTMOM (under advanced selection options). You can SKIP items from selection based on the system status, refer to table JEST.

In release 1909 we do not have the SKIP rule yet. A simple restriction based on table level will not work here. I am waiting for some feedback if there is another workaround/solution. But I fear I will have no good news.

pls. find here the current deep dive slide deck for Direct Transfer LTMOM. As I understand, you do not find the respective field in the source fields of the data model. In release 2020 you would in addition have the possibility to use the so-called skip-rule, a rule where you use your own coding in order to skip items from selection (pls. see details in the slide deck). In 1909, the skip possibility is unfortunately not available yet.

thanks a lot for the reference to the slidedeck for Direct transfer 2020. Your understanding is correct: it seems that there is no field nor structure available for System status for LTMOM Equipments & Functional Locations.

We are working on 1909 right now so we cannot rely on the 2020 solution yet.

So there is no current solution to filter on System Status?

It is recommended that SystemStatus on EQUI & FL are made available as standard filters in LTMOM, they are the only way to identify if a FL & EQUI have been deleted and therefore should not be in scope. Similar to Material Master Deletion flag, which get filtered out during Direct Transfer automatically already.

Perhaps if you do find a way to use the filter (or perhaps we missed something in source structure?), we would very much appreciate this information!
