Central Finance for Global Business Services

Hi all,

I have a client with 4 SAP ECC instances, with different templates, that has activated a global business service that should centralize some activities on accounting, credit management and so on. The question is: would it be possible deploy S4 Central Finance to centralize operations and write back the transactions to SAP ECC instance?
For what I have read so far S4 Central Finance has been used more as dowstream system to reconcile and consolidate the financial views but not for operational activities.
