Acquired Model Data Type issue for Date Field in SAC story

Hi,

I am trying to create a KPI dashboard connecting SAC to Salesforce Reports.

When i try to create the acquired model the date field from the salesforce reports to SAC gets generated in text data type and because of the data type problem i am unable to get the option to choose hierarchy level in my sac story for linked analysis purpose for month wise /quarter wise etc.

Can anyone come across the same issue or help me out on this.

Note : I am unable to change the datatype when i am trying to create a model connecting to salesforce reports only, If its a flat file i am able to change the data type before the model creation.
