Hi Folks,
Need your help on the issue specified. We are having a node which is running already. Now we are creating cluster node by using existing node1 CMSDB. Upon completion of installation all servers are up and running except CMS. The CMS is stopped/failed with below error. Environment details mentioned below. Please help.
Error : This server is considered failed because it has stopped 5 times(s) in 60 minute(s)
Environment Details:
Windows server 2012 R2
SAP BO 4.2 SP08 Patch3

Suresh
If you're installed on Windows, you can also check the Windows Event Viewer to see why the CMS is stopping. Finally, you can check in the logs to determine errors as well.

There are many reasons for this, one of which is explained in this KBA

Hi ,
Thanks for your suggestions. I have installed BO 4.2 in cluster node successfully. Problem is with CMSDB username and password got changed by somebody but not informed to us.
Upon completion of installation, while verifying found that only primary node Tomcat is up and running whereas cluster node tomcat is running. SIA's in both environments working fine. We have 2 CMS's now (primary/cluster) and one tomcat(primary).
My question is, is it necessary to run 2 tomcat instances in cluster mode? if so, how to bring up tomcat in cluster node? Please advise.
Regards,
Suresh
