Asset Central Equipment tab configuration

Hello,

I'm trying to configure the screen elements for Asset Central information on EAM equipment / functional location records.Everything is well explained in the configuration guide, but I'm running into a strange issue. And according to Google, it's apparently just me 🙂

• All notes and prerequisites imported
• Activate functions for EAM - Done
• Screen entries added to V_TITOBSUB - Done
• Set view profile for technical objects - Done... equipment only at this time

So far, so good. However when viewing an equipment record in IE02 / IE03, clicking on the new "Asset Central' tab throws an error:

Requested function ASTI is not available here

Message no. V0104

The message is being returned from SAPLV00F/LV00FF0T form T185F_LESEN. Looking at the entries in T185F, seems like it's expecting an entry for function code 'ASTI' in program SAPMIEQ0. It looks like an entry for this function code can manually be added to the table via VFBS, but (a) I have no idea what the content should be, and (b) this seems like a sketchy workaround. Should there be some additional screen config that may be required?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi John - you can follow the steps of SAP Note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002776181

"To add the configuration of function code, please perform below steps:

- Go to transaction VFBS.
- Give program name as SAPMIEQ0 and select CHANGE mode.
- Add a new entry with below details:
Program: SAPMIEQ0"

Fantastic, thank you so much tammy.powlas3 ! I made the changes to T185F as suggested, but this results in another issue:

Flow control: Entry SAPMIEQ0, ASTI, * , * , * , * is missing in T185 Message no. V0102

I added an entry in T185 through VFBS by copying an existing entry, could you confirm what screen change module should be populated there?
