Hi All,

GRC 10.1 SP10

can you please suggest, as to how FF ids in selection list can be restricted per user.

For eg. basis user should only see Basis FF ids, from all systems

Hi Planban,

in tcode NWBC you go to setup --> Emergency Access Management and assignment. Maintain the FF ID usage per user and execute synch jobs.

Plaban,

Below option will work if we create each role like Basis, Security etc.. and assign to those particular users and try. Make sure that FFID are maintained in GRAC_USER field values to restrict the ID's visibility.

2. We can restrict the GRAC_USER (user ID) field in GRAC_FFOWN object. Users will now only see the FF ID's under that User ID(FF owner Id given in the field). ( I haven't tried this)

Plaban,

As far as i know,

1. You can achieve it by using Template based access request for each function FFID

2. We can restrict the GRAC_USER (user ID) field in GRAC_FFOWN object. Users will now only see the FF ID's under that User ID(FF owner Id given in the field). ( I haven't tried this)

Hi Mahendran,

Any user can access ant Template based access request and submit any FF id. So, could you please say, how can it still restrict a user to a FF id. And there are 200 users using 30 FF ids. So, creating 30 templates is not a good solution

i tried the 2nd option and did not work out

Plaban.
