PO is automatically going for release

SO far I am done with enterprise structure, master data and created a material and vendor by using these i have created a PO. but once PO is done with no error it is going for release when I am saving documentrelease.png i.e., with any work or assignment in release strategy why and how my PO is going for release. so I coudn't process GR without release.

You created a new PO with a PO doc. type and release strategy triggers as release procedure designed for those PO doc. types . Better release that PO and proceed with goods receipt

Else create a new PO with another PO doc. type which is not subjected to release strategy and proceed for goods receipt

Hi Saranya - It looks like based on system configuration, the PO Release strategy is getting triggered which I believe might be correct, If you don't want to trigger the PO release strategy then pick up some different data set which wont trigger release strategy. Example you can use different Code or Doc type. I think you need to check with your system configurator.

Hi Saranya - Did you follow PO creation or Release documentation under SAP S/4 Hana documentation from following link,

Just to give you very crisp info, you can release the PO thru T code ME28 or ME29N. Once PO is released then its good for posting GG against that PO.

I am working in SAP R3 system.

I can release PO and do further steps still . But my question is without touching anywhere how this releasing PO is set to my documents. And how to remove this release strategy. I want to create a normal PO without any release conditions.
