Calibration Process with QM/PM

My work area is implementing calibration process with SAP PM-QM

I am deploying the process as described here

But I am looking for some user-specific customization.

What is recommended process would you suggest upload/document/maintain calibration certificate for the equipment? I am aware about the Services for Objects feature but would you suggest that? And should I maintain against the Inspection lot?

Can upload of attachment be made mandatory/forced incase the Valuation is made as Can be used or is there way to achieve this? The user should be able to view the attachment at later stage.

And the user needs to print the certificate/attachment alongside with the inspection report when the user queries QGA3. How can be this achieved?

And email triggers to the user groups to be made when the equipment nears the due date, this being achieved in my work-area by scheduling background job for IW39 and passing the relevant values and gleaning the output and generating PDF and mailing them. Is there a much better way??

I think your posted an answer for printing PDF along with inspection report.

I was able to find these but quite unsure as they seem little delicate

I was thinking that you wanted to use a particular piece of equipment that required calibration for your inspections. i.e. you have an item ABC to be tested and it requires you use equipment XYZ that is calibrated. When you inspect ABC you want to report the results for ABC and the calibration cert for the equipemtn XYZ.

I was thinking the equipment its cert would need to be assinged to the inspection as a PRT.

But I'm not sure that is what you are doing.
