BPC ENVIRONMENTSHELL is not available for the BPC User without SAP_ALL Profile (in BW)

Hi Experts,

I am getting the scenario like this --->

In BPC Web-Admin, the ENVIRONMENTSHELL is not available the for users without SAP_ALL Profile, whereas the users with SAP_ALL Profile can access the ENVIRONMENTSHELL & the other custom environments.

I am not sure whether this is the standard behavior or there is something wrong/broken !

Please help me on this scenario.

Sorry, but please read about BPC security setup!

SAP_ALL is not required but security need to be setup correctly.

Meanwhile I want to share the inputs received from SAP VAR Partner.

Dear Mukesh,
You should know the role for the role for the environmentshell, by standard you will get access form SAP_ALL, when you setup initially you will use role SAP_BW_CONTENT_ADMIN with SAP_ALL. Go to the SAP system (corresponding to the BPC system you are using) from logon pad - > go to SE16 and check the table UJE_USER_AGR. It will show the role corresponding to all the environments in BPC. Make note of the required role.
if you have not setup and roles in the system, please take help from your basis or security team , you can find SAP*BPC* roles , where you can copy to Z* roles.
Note : by standard environment shell acess is generated using SAP_ALL profile
