Hello Experts,
I have started to learn and explore DDMRP functionality in S/4 HANA. Currently I am trying in a test system (S/4 HANA 1809 FPS 01). I have gone through one test script and understood that I should have the below roles assigned to my user ID.
SAP_BR_PRODN_PLNR , SAP_BR_Inventory_Manager, SAP_BR_WAREHOUSE_CLERK
I got these roles assigned and then the DDMRP apps are visible in my FIORI launchpad. However the below three apps are giving error
After opening these apps and clicking on new gives below error
Can you please let me know the possible cause for this and how to fix this error. The same is the problem for the above mentioned 3 apps. Apart from these 3 apps other DDMRP apps are working fine.
I look forward to your suggestions.
Thanks
Murali
Hi Murali,
I am not sure if you have access to SM30 table. If yes, please enter the table name APJ_C_SCOPE. In this table please maintain the below entries
SAP_SCM_DD_BUFFER_PROP_CALC
SAP_SCM_DD_PRODUCT_CLASSFCTN
SAP_SCM_DD_PROD_EFG_CLASSF
and then try to access the APP. You should be able to overcome this error. You might need to logoff and login if it doesn't happen initially.
Please check and confirm.

Hi Sasi,
I have one more issue related to DDMRP app i.e Buffer Profile Maintenance (App ID: PPH_DD_BUF_PROF).
I am posting here because, I think it is related one (Please let me know if it is required to open in new thread)
This app is not visible in my Fiori launchpad, however I know that there is a Transaction code PPH_DD_BUF_PROF related to this app.
Usually there will be a ``DEFAULT`` profile provided by SAP as I read from SAP press book and DDMRP blogs. But in my case this is missing and there no buffer profiles present as shown below:
Can you please let me know,
1. Are there any settings for the app to appear in my Fiori launchpad
2. To get the DEFAULT profile with values as provided by SAP.
I look forward to your help.
Thanks and Regards,
Murali
Hi Murali,
As per my understanding the system alias should be LOCAL and not S4SCM. if am not wrong. These are more technical questions, it would be good if you raise it as a new issue and please close this thread.

Hi Murali,
Getting the app on the launch pad and app giving an error are actually two different issues. My suggestion would be to check this with your authorisation personal. Ideally if you have the relevant roles this app should be visible. For this App that you are asking you the below roles, SAP_BR_MATL_PLNR_EXT_PROC, SAP_BR_PRODN_PLNR. Please check. From the Default profile perspective, I don't think its mandatory to have values there as mentioned in the books. You can maintain them by yourself.

Hi Sasi,
I have the both the roles mentioned by you assigned to my USER ID, and we don't have have security personal as it is a test system for practice which we have got very recently in our university.
Regarding default buffer profile, I will go ahead as per your suggestion to maintain values manually.
Also, I checked this Buffer profile maintenance app details in Fiori library, where it contains details for Technical configuration with system Alias as ``S4SCM``.
I also tried checking in Report /UI2/GET_APP_DESCR_REMOTE_ALL with the help of T-Code /UI2/APPDESC_GET for the corresponding business catalog SAP_SCM_BC_DDMRP, and I got below error message
I am not sure whether the system alias is related to the app being not displayed. Please let me know if this is related and can solve with your help.
I once again thank you very much for your expert advice and immediate responses.

Hi Murali,
The above parameters can also be maintained via the following path
SPRO - SAP NetWeaver - Application Server - System Administration - Activation of Scope-Dependent Application Job Catalog Entries
Hope this helps.
