Is there a way you can make an existing customer into a supplier.

If yes, please advise how this can be done.

Hello Hitesh,

Yes, this is possible to in ByDesign.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Business Partner Data work center and select the Business Partner view

2. Search for your Customer, select it and click on Create As --> Supplier option

This way your Customer master data will be replicated as a Supplier, don't forget to then complete some of the information in the Supplier side of the data.

Hi Hitesh,

Yes this is possible. If you go to the Business Partner Data - Business Partners view, find the customer, select the line and then click the "Create as" button and choose supplier. You can then add the supplementary supplier specific data and they will then appear in suppler base.
