How to integrate Product hierarchy with SOP/Forecasting in PP

Hello Experts,

I have got a requirement from customer to integrate Product hierarchy with SOP/Forecasting to do planning(MRP/MPS) with PP module.

Appreciate if anyone can suggest how can we integrate Product hierarchy with Planning/forecasting and is it feasible in standard SAP to met this requirement.

Hello All,

It seems there is no direct link between Product hierarchy and forecasting.

We have suggested custumer to create product groups similar to product hierarchy and do planning with SOP/LTP

Customer would like to implement end to end process of product hierarchy and looking forward for what SAP offers to use product hierarchy in Forecasting and Planning to optimize the whole process

I have gone through many threads but didn't found any link of product hierarchy with Planning and Forecasting.

I am looking whether is it feasible in standard SAP to met this requirement or we may have to go with some custom solution.
