Successful WM-Staging does not trigger PMR creation (Advanced Production Integration)

Hi,

I'm triggering WM staging on a released production order in ECC. WM staging is successful but there is no PMR created in the decentral S/4 EWM 1909.

WM staging protocol shows no errors. SLG1 shows nothing.

I have stopped the outbound queue in ECC and inbound queue in EWM but there are no entries.

Distribution of In- and Outbound deliveries works fine - changes are also communicated properly.

Which class/FM actually triggers the PMR creation in EWM? How can I debug this?

Are there any other settings I could check?

Regards,

Tim

Hi,

you have a distribution model at all for the PMR? And a control cycle which says EWM staging?

Just noticed that you wrote in another question already something with regards to the distribution model - so I guess his part of the question is obsolete...

Hi Juergen,

BERKZ in the control cycle is set to 5 (EWM staging) and distribution model looks as follows:

From debugging I know that the right distribution model and receiver is being determined.

Alright, this is going to be rather embarassing, but maybe someone in the future is as dumb as I am and will find this answer helpful:

I was concentrating so much on debugging the WM staging code and wondering why, after seeing the success message, there was no pmr in my outbound queue, that I was forgetting one important detail:

Ready?

YOU NEED TO HIT SAVE!

Thank you and good night.

Tim

Tim,

my comment is not of any further help, maybe just a comforting note.

Don't worry too much, it's just a very unusual behaviour for a SAP function: for some reason the PP order needs an extra "save me, please" after every action. Happened to me more than once, too. 😉

My basis colleagues have a saying: saving a lot, helps a lot... (viel sichern hilft viel) 😉
