Font Issue in BI/BO Server in crystal report

Hi All

We have an issue in displaying/printing barcode (crystal report) in BI/BO server where font 'Free 3 of 9 Extended' doesn't displays barcode while printing from Chrome.

Font Name & Details-

Title-Free 3 of 9 Extended Regular

Name-FRE3OF9X_6 (Not sure why it is not showing FRE3OF9X)

Fontalias-

a) The error occurs both in Chrome & Internet Explorer. Chrome Version is 86 & Internet Explorer is 11 version.

b) Tried restarting server multiple times after change in fontalias file.

I understand from your comment that I need to maintain Free 3 of 9 Extended & Free 3 of 9 Regular both in fontalias.xml file.

I have a question-

My font value for Free 3 of 9 Extended Regular is coming as FRE3OF9X_6. It is same in registry as well as fonts folder. Can this be issue? How can I correct it to FRE3OF9X? I tried manually correcting it but it simply corrupts the font.

why do you want to correct it to "FRE3OF9X" !!!!?? Just enter the correct physical font name in the fontalias.xml file

I copied exactly same in fontalias.xml as mentioned in SAP Note-2115076 but still same issue.

Any other advice?

Did you install the fonts on the server?

If so, and still having the problem then it seems that the barcode fonts you have are not working properly.

Download the other free barcode fonts (regular and extended) and try again as instructed in my answer.

Hi Ayman

Added the new fonts & made changes in font alias file & same issue. I think the issue is because the reports are not created on this server & were copied to the server. Font Free 3 of 9 Extended Regular is showing name as FRE3OF9X_6 while the reports are expecting as FRE3OF9X. If we try to rename it as FRE3OF9X in BO server it says that FRE3OF9X already exists & if we overwrite it than it corrupts the font. This was working for long time but some how after the name change its not working.
