Message Mappings in SRM Server 5.5

Hi

I have imported XI Content for SRM Server 5.5 in my XI system which is 3.0 SR1 SP13.

When I try to open the message mappings I get following error message:

Source message Message Type: ABABusinessPartner does not exist in the software component version 16434550-525a-11d6-847d-cd580a1145a5

Check whether the software component version 16434550-525a-11d6-847d-cd580a1145a5 is in the Integration Repository. If necessary, install the software component version 16434550-525a-11d6-847d-cd580a1145a5 or a newer version

What could be the reason for the problem?

I know this exactly.. We piloted that..

Basically the SWCV s in the contents are registered with the object id .. specially for the SAP objects that is idocs..

There should be another SWCV like SAP_APPL which will contain the idocs...

<b>Just open the message mapping and interface mapping and point the SAP side objects from the SWCV (SAP_APPL) where the idocs lies and activate...</b>

Hello ..

As you said, the source messages were referring to a non - exisintf software component in the repository.

I changed it and while saving I get the same error now. So unable to save the changes.

The error is 'Unable to Load function group'. followed by 'AMapping tool has the initial value NULL'.

Any ideas on this please.

Palaniappan,

This is a very unusial error .....

1)Make sure that the Modifiable Tab of the SWCV is checked...

2)Try doing a full cache refresh...

Hello Palaniappan,

It is the issue related to the dependencies of SWCV , the mapping is using the message present in the different SWCV . import the SWCv in u r repository and the issue will get resolved.

But even If I refer the Items from other Software Component Versions, do you think it will error out with the following error?

'Unable to Load Function Storage'. What might be the problem for this. I always get this in SRM Server 5.5 Software Component Imported.
