Hi

We are doing migration for PS projects .While loading projects for BAPI we are getting incorrect error for a field to be provided a input though it is made optioanal and able to create pirjoject successfully by CJ01.Please guide

Hi S J,

It is a known issue that IM program and IM position is not part of the data structure managed in CNMASSCREATE.

The solution recommended by SAP is to mark IM Program and Position as Optional in Customizing, but implement a validation user exit to check that fields are populated before you can set PREL or REL system status.

Thanks Pualo for pormpt repsonse .We did make it optioanal , but system generates an error " Fill all required fields without giving the relevant details of errors .Then we opted for BAPI and there we found the same error - but fixed it thru ABAP.

Maybe that was due to the fact of your Budget Profile settings that were referencing to IM.
