DTP filter selection not working

Hi Experts,

Before I ask this question, I have already searched in forums but could not get to this exact issue and solution. There are plenty of questions and answers on filter criteria not working but this is a complete different issue.

Many a times I have come across DTP filter selection issue. The issue is, when I try to change filter in DTP(by using change selection)

And when I add fields as below and click ok(green right mark)

I dont get updated filters selection,

As seen in above screenshots, I added currency type, item category, transaction type in left side, but after clicking OK, i dont get these fields to give filters.

Any inputs appreciated.

I think the issue is with your system installed SAP GUI.

Can you check with other system and try same, and also check for version of SAP GUI.

Hi KD,

I checked other systems in landscape, same issue. Checked at others desktop, same issue.

When I create a new DTP, i am able to change filters. This is happening for only few DTPs.

I came across this issue a lot of times but ignored by creating new DTPs, but want to reach a solution this time.

Are you identifying this issue after any upgrade?

I think this is SAP program generation related issue, Have you tried reactivating this DPT once than edit filter screen. It may work.

I have searched on SAP Support portal for your issue, there are many similar issues with DTP like you have. All are having SAP program error. This might also be SAP's issue.

Raise OSS and see what they respond.
