IGS Watchdog could not be started

Hi,

In my SAP EP sytem while starting server I get an error 'IGS Watchdog could not be started'.

Is there any possibilities to fix this error or I need to reinstall again.

Hi Sri ,

check in kernel , if there is executable for IGS in Kernel , then check in work directory logs for igs , if there is any error .  Also goes through below error .

[#1469031 IGS 7.x Start Profile Entry|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1469031 ]

and

[#824281 igswd does not start due to an incorrect start profile entry|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/824281]

Hi,

First refer OSS note 824281

Did you do a kernel upgrade , if so then please check all binaries related to igs is located under /sapmn/<SID>/exe/

Once i faced the same error and after i realized I have properly copied IGS binaries into kernel directory.

Can you please add more info???

IGS work like a service if you're running windows and logs can be found at:

C:\Program Files\SAP\Internet Graphics Server\log\

Can you please post any relevant info on the logs.

Check that the IGS is running as LocalSystem and not as a user...
