Bookmark not working as expected when live connection from CDS is used

1. Created a CDS and some mandatory and optional prompts on this CDS.

2. Used this CDS in Story and prompt values are passed when executing the story.

3. In Explorer mode created a new view and then bookmarked.

4. But when tried to open this bookmark the selected input parameters doesn't appear and keeps asking to renter the values.

Is this how it works? There seems to be many limitation using live connection to CDS.

Yes this is same when Live to HANA is used. Whenever the bookmark is opened , the Input Prompt menu pops up for selecting the values freshly (Ideally which I feel should not).

Same que is from Business User, "why do I need to pass the Input Prompt everytime when it is already bookmarked"

Hi Sayed,

There are limitations with regards to bookmarks and especially creating a view in explorer mode. Have you validated this feature against another Live data source like, SAP HANA or SAP BW? If you feel it's a defect or bug please support a SAP incident via the Support Portal to get more clarity whether this is the expected behaviour.
