What JDK version does CPI run on?

Dear community,

Can anyone confirm what Java JDK version SAP CPI runs on? Specifically which JDK version Groovy scripts and imported libraries are executed with?

For importing external Java libraries into iFlows I would like to know the JDK version to avoid incompatibilities.

It's Java 8.

Hello Manuel,

As per my understanding its current Java VM version, is now 8.1.063 10.0.2+000.Also there is nice twitter handler created by 7a519509aed84a2c9e6f627841825b5a which gives clarity on multiple runtime aspects of SAP CPI.
