Event Message posting problem using PI

Hello Guru's

We have connected EM and PI to trigger service "TrackedProcessEventNotificationCreateRequest_In" to receive event messages from carrier, when a set of xml tags posted using SPROXY testing event message is posted and we can see EH update, but if the same set is triggered from PI I can see following message in EM but no posting of event message.

SLG1 Message:

Event message(s): Date 16.02.2017,09:59:53,CET, user XXXX, transaction.

Event message has been posted to SAP Event Management.

Total event messages 1 sent to SAP Event Management

2. Correct me if I am wrong, and there is no other option to process entries from table /SAPTRX/EVM_UNPR except triggering a new message.

The entry will be processed if an EH is created that matches the data from the Event Message. Check the data and the settings for your EH like allowed Unexpected Event Codes and EE Profile location mathcing etc. and compare it to your message. Some data are wrong or not matching the settings.

1. Yes, I could see entries in LOCKEDEH table, but these entries are not clearing from the table even after running - /SAPTRX/LOCKED_PROC.

Check SM12 if the EH is still locked. If there is no lock /SAPTRX/LOCKED_PROC should process the entries.

Hello Badami,

could you check if the EH was maybe locked? Then you find an entry for the Message Guid in table /SAPTRX/LOCKEDEH.

Other possibility would be that no EH was found for some reason the en entry in table

/SAPTRX/EVM_UNPR.
