How to configure workflow for parked document?

Dear Experts,

I have some queries on the workflow config for parked document. On our client location, when a user parked a document, it goes to the Accounts manager for release the document and then it goes to CFO. But since some daysm the manager has been resigned and all the parked document should come to the CFO for approval.

Kindly help me how can I do the workflow configuration for this and where I can get the existing configuration for the workflow?

Hi Shreekumar,

This will depend on how your workflow was built.

The first thing I'd recommend is finding and understanding SAP Help on this topic (https://help.sap.com/doc/0af0d353ca9f4408e10000000a174cb4/700_SFIN20%20006/en-US/1ceed353ca9f4408e10000000a174cb4.html)

Then I'd recommend is reviewing what your parked document workflow is doing. You should be able to find out by reviewing the technical logs.

PS: It's always helpful to explain what release you are on, what you have looked at to try to solve the problem yourself, if you are using standard SAP Workflows, and so on.

Its not clear what is your requirement if you are not using SAP standard it is unlikely someone can understand what you need help with

Please go to the document in MIr4 and check the workflow log and see if you can find a log and drill down further to find the workflow ID and task associated with it.

You could make the change in the agent determination step so the new user gets determined

Thank you sir for your reply and sorry for late response.

I have checked all the standard workflow config but no configuration has been done in the standard setting.

Customization has been done for this I guess but due to not having any document related to it we consultant unable to indentify it.

Kindly assist how could we know the customized things of this.

You would need to add more details like What Task ID , workflow ID

It is unlikely someone can help with this litte information

Ask ABAPer to debug for you

Hello Ma'am,

Actually they are using BDC to upload an excel file where FI document parked and one workflow goes to the upper level for approval. I want to change the approver as the manager who were approving before has left the company. I have already checked the workflow standard config but there I didn't find any configuration. Abaper also debug that one but he is also asking for the program name to debug if any customization has done or not. There is no document, so I am unable to identify also.

Please assist me on this.
