MDG-C: Error "Enter a relevant role for creation of customer master data"

Hi all,

I tried to create a new customer with the change request type CUF1P1 (create customer with Fiori App) in SAP MDG. After entering all mandatory fields and saving, the following error message appears:

"Enter a relevant role for creation of customer master data"

I have following questions:

1. Why I can't choose the business partner role FLCU00 or FLCU01 in the Fiori app ,,Create Customer"? Do I need to configure some additional UI functionalities??

2. All the necessary information what I found said following: Delete all business partner roles in sap table V_TBD002 except the one you want to use for the "create customer process" e.g. FLCU00. But this table is a sap table and it is not allowed to delete something. Why do the community recommend this? Pls support me. Hi Pankaj,

thank you very much for your reply and necessary information. I solved my CR type issue. But one further question. I tried to copy the standard CUF1P1 into Z namespace and I did the manuall config steps in this but it does not work. If I do the config steps in the standard CR type CUF1P1 it works fine. How can I configure that the fiori app will use the ZCR type ZCUF1P1? Maybe you will have some more usefull information for me :-).

Hi Sven,

Please check below 2 points:

1. If correct Business Activity is assigned to Custom Cr ZCUF1P1 (If it is copied with all entries than it will be correct) which is assigned in Standard CR CUF1P1.
2. Check if there is any Authorization failure for your custom CR Type in SU53.

Hi Pankaj,

I cheched those things but it did not work.

Now I have two CR-Types.

1. SAP standard CR types

2. Custom ZCR type

Bothe types have the same settings. How should now the Fior App know which type should be used for my process? From my point of view I have to assign the new one (ZCR type) to the Fiori App.

What do you think?

Hi Pankaj,

additional information:

I set the ZCR type as standard CR type (see screenshot) and I tested the use case again.

Result: It did not not work.

I set up the SAP Note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2545420 for my standard CR type CUF1P1 and the ZCR type is still set up as standard CR type, but it works. That is weird.
