Hi everyone,
A general question. Is it a problem to have the data files on different partiotions. I had a big performance problem when I extract Data from SAP, but only with MaxDB and only with the tables COSS and COSP.

Hi Daniel,
MAXDB does not support partitions, so you cannot have tables on specific partitions. All the data is striped, or equally written, across all the data volumes.
It looks like you are an SAP customer. If you're experiencing poor performance with MAXDB, you should open an OSS message and SAP support will look at it.
