Dear experts, We are analyzing a requirement and an alternative is to consume an abap function from AFO. It's possible?. They will have a step by step Thank you very much.

ABAP RFC is not related to AO. In Excel VBA you can always use RFC to interact with abap code. And AO is just an Excel Add-in.

P.S. If you have some AO report in Excel you can always execute some vba code that will run RFC and get data directly or perform some data manipulation in ABAP.

I think that, there isn´t a direct conection between AFO and ABAP FM, probably you will need to use SAP Analytics Cloud, based on SAC, you will can write a ODATA services that uses BAPI/RFC and returns data. So, you will can call the ODATA service as data source from SAC.
