SUBMIT button not required when CR is created in sap MDG

Hi Experts,

Our requirement is to show "Activate" button instead of "SUBMIT" button when Initiator will create a CR in first step. Like NWBC>Create Material>Choose CR Type as MAT01>CR creation Page will be opened. Generally we see "SUBMIT" button. Here we need to show "Activate" button instead of "SUBMIT" button. After filling Mandt fields, he will press "Activate" button and CR status will be "Final Check Approved" and the Actual material will be created.

Hello GS,

According to your description, I think you expect a workflow process in MDG with only one step activation.

To do so, you should first configure your custom CR type and configure the rule based workflow according with one step activation case.

And regarding the button label shown on the UI, it can be adjusted in the UI configuration with your custom enhancement/customizing.

Please note, one step activation is violate the MDG Basic Governance Process logic/idea.

It’s not recommended to use such activation process.
