Impex Export date time format syntax to have time in 24 hour format (or at least specify AM and PM)

I have an export script with the following fields: created time and modified time. The format defined for the fields is as follows: dateformat=dd.MM.yyyy hh:mm:ss

The problem with this is that the time is in 12 hour format as opposed to 24 hour format and there is no AM or PM indicator. I need to be able to calculate the time between the created and modified time.

How should I specificy the dateformat to have the time in 24 hour format?
