Difference between Users and employee in solution manager

Dear Experts,

I am wondering what is the difference between employee and user in solution manager ?

I can see users are from table usr02 then what is employee here also in my solution manager there are 47 users and 67 users. Please help on this.

Table usr02 will provide number of user.

users are named users + technical users etc. which are seen in USR02.

employees are CRM related concept. As solman has features of BW and CRM together, Solman borrowed the concept from CRM. An employee is like a role of a person like software engineer, manager etc. they are defined for Solman CHARM where you have users performing multiple actions based on their role definition like tester, developer, change manager etc.
