Recover Value mapping in SAP CPI

Hi,

Is there any way to recover the deleted value mapping in sap CPI.

I am able to recover the iflow but not the value mapping.

Hello Shashi,

Once you download the Value Mapping from manage artifacts ( its jar ) change the file extension to .zip and then import the same.It works well.

Hello Shashi,

Whatever details mentioned for IFlow holds true for Value Mapping also.

1) Custom Value Mapping which is currently not deployed and which got deleted accidentally from package cannot be recovered.

2) Custom Value Mapping which is currently deployed and which got deleted accidentally from package can be recovered by downloading the same from Manage artifact & uploading it again.

3) For standard packages Value Mapping you can restore it easily by recopying the same from discover.

Hope you got chance to look into KBA shared ( and there is no such KBA available for value mapping since this holds good in case of Value Mapping also ).

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I have downloaded the value mapping from manage integration content, which is a jar file.

When creating the value mapping and uploading jar file, it is throwing error "invalid entry", select only zip file.

Error as below.

I tried to zip that jar file and upload then below error:
